The Skylark Fund
The Skylark Fund is Ambleside’s annual fund meant to bridge the gap between the cost of excellence and tuition revenue. This fund is used to provide more competitive pay and benefits for faculty and staff, teacher training, classroom resources, school supplies, financial assistance awards, and the stewardship of our buildings and grounds. The Skylark Fund's goal is equal to three years’ worth of operational support. Our target for this initiative is $1,750,000. Our current fund balance is $250,000.

Financial Assistance
While the quality of an Ambleside education remains exceptional, making it accessible remains a challenge. An average of 30 - 35% of our families require tuition assistance to enroll and remain at Ambleside.
We are committed to serving a socioeconomically diverse student body so that children from all backgrounds can access a nurturing and living education. To this end, the threshold of planned assistance is set at a higher than average rate of 25% of tuition revenue. To make sure our awards are available each year to meet the needs of families calling Ambleside home, we draw from the Skylark Fund to supplement these gifts, making the Skylark Fund the cornerstone of access at Ambleside.
