Robotics Program
Total Raised: $4,000
Thanks to the generosity of our Ambleside community, our Robotics Program is fully-funded. We requested and received a $2,000 initial investment to launch the after-school program now available to our 5th and 6th grade students.
School Safety and Security Upgrades
Total Raised: $130,168
Thanks to the generosity of our Ambleside community, our school safety and security upgrades are now fully-funded. We will be implementing the following items as effective security upgrades.
1. Commercial front entry slide gate with two way video and audio communications systems.
2. Window and door improvements across various areas of campus.
3. Second campus AED and additional AED training.
4. Consultation and training for armed security on campus.
2023 Starry Night
Total Raised: $253,255
Starry Night is Ambleside’s most elegant fundraiser of the year. Thank you to all who attended and contributed towards a very successful event in 2023.
Go Outside 5k & Fun Run
Total Raised: $7,951
The Go Outside 5K and Fun Run hopes to encourage participants to spend a beautiful fall morning outside. We begin with a run or a brisk walk through quaint Fredericksburg neighborhoods. Afterwards we gather for race awards on our beautiful campus as well as some amazing food, fresh juices and coffee! The Go Outside 5k benefits scholarships to Ambleside School of Fredericksburg.

Music Program
Total Raised: $11,250 (Goal: $10,000)
Ambleside Music classes are guided by the Kodaly method of music, using folk songs and solfège (Do, Re, Mi, etc.) to teach a love for and understanding of music-making. In addition to growing in their appreciation and understanding of music, students are also given the opportunity to share what they have learned in three performances during the school year, including a community-wide chapel service for Veterans’ Day, the Christmas Candlelight service, and the Spring Performance.
Library
Total Raised: $7,241 (Goal: $5,000)
Inspired by the words of Charlotte Mason, "Children must have books, living books; the best are not too good for them; anything less than the best is not good enough," the Ambleside Living Library aims to provide students with the opportunity to read a vast number of texts filled with living ideas. Our collection now includes 3,427 such living texts, and it continues to grow. We want our students to have the very best texts the vast storehouse of literature has to offer. We are grateful to all who have contributed to the growth of our library.
