Upcoming Events:

Nimitz Veterans Day : Students grades 5th-High School will be singing patriotic songs in the Nimitz Museum Program on Saturday the 11th, 11am. Students will meet at Ambleside at 9:30am and travel to the Nimitz together. Reminder-students should again be dressed in performance chapel attire. Students will return to campus by bus when the ceremony has concluded/

Gingerbread and Bird Seed: Order forms are due this coming Monday the 13th. (But you can continue sellng until we are sold out!) Please turn in your order forms to the office for order tracking purposes. When turning in money, make sure to label an envelope with your name, so that totals can be correctly recorded.

EXAMS: Exams will take place this coming week, November 13th. As a reminder, this week students are released at 12:30 (K-8th only).

Picnic and play: Thursday, Novmeber 16th. If you'd like to take your student to the park after exams this day, bring a lunch and lots of energy to Lady Bird Park. Families are gathering around pavilion 3.

Men's Breakfast: Our breakfast will start at 7:00 the morning of Wednesday, November 15. At the heart of our meeting will be the ideas presented in RARE Leadership. Whether in your work, or in your family, you have been called to lead and this book has great insight into four habits that we could all seek to acquire for the sake of the people in our care. All are welcome, so send Mr. York any names and email addresses of men in our community that you think would like to attend. Copies of this book will be available for purchase in the office for $15. Thanksgiving Break: Week of Novmeber 20th. Enjoy this time of gratitude and family togetherness!

Turkey Trot: Saturday, November 25th. See attached flyer for more information.

Fredericksburg Music Club has released their 2017/2018 [FREE concert schedule.][7] Check out their flyer for moe details!

Veterans and First Responders Dinner: Saturday, November 18th. If you know any Veterans or first responders who might like to attend, share the attached flyer!

Additionally, Veterans are invited to have lunch with the FHS ROTC on Friday, November 10th. Please RSVP to Captain George Fadok at georgef@fisd.org if you would like to attend

Care packages for Troops: If you would like to assist with providing items or by paying for shipping for Care Packages for troops in Iraq, please see the attached flyer from First United Methodist Church.
