About our teachers and staff

In addition to regular classroom hours,

1. Our teachers spend an average of 14 hours per week
preparing lesson plans, after school tutoring, teacher meetings, parent meetings, reading and reviewing journals and copybooks, and weekly assessments.

2. Our teachers spent an average of 9 hours preparing exams.

3. Our teachers spent an average of 30 hours grading exams.
For a class of 12 that is 2.5 hours per student.

4. Our teachers spent an average of 33 hours preparing progress reports. For a class of 12 that is 2.75 hours per student. 

5. Our Principal and Director of Curriculum and Teacher Training spent 30 hours on exams. There are 80 students in the school so that is .4 hours per student.

6. Our Principal and Director of Curriculum and Teacher Training spent 40 hours on progress reports, that is .5 hours per student.
